Great for active outdoor use November 5, 2008 M. ROBERTS We love this camera. My husband takes it to work and it is great to send with him when he goes fishing and hunting. You don't have to worry about a little rain or it getting tossed into a backpack. We used the earlier model down in Baja and were happy with the underwater pictures we got. It is not fancy and doesn't have great zoom, but great for people who do a lot of activities outside. Great deal for the price!!!
Best Camera In the WORLD! November 3, 2008 Kikey C. Trujillo (Rancho Cucamonga, CA USA) Bought this camera in August..after "dropping" my Casio on the 4th of July. Oblivously the fact that it is shock proof is what first appealed to me, but I also have a swimming pool and always had to worry about getting the camera wet, so I figured this camera would be safe and last me a long time. It is slightly bigger than my previous camera but not by much. I've used it in the pool on several occasions and the pictures are awesome. I advertise it to anyone and speak hightly of this camera. The features do not take away from the quality which is great. I totaly recommend it to anyone!
Nice for the price... but October 13, 2008 Algy Fonts (USA) Nice feature shockproof and waterproof. You need to be carefully and read the screen before take any picture.. machine hold the last set-up even if you turn it off... Very short battery live... You will need a second battery.. High quality videos just for 1o seconds. No memory include in the price...
Very Pleased September 25, 2008 D. Wilson (Liberty, North Carolina) We just returned from a trip to Saint Lucia. We took well over 600 pictures, many many pictures of fish. I loved that you could take it in the salt water with you and then wash it in the sink with soap and water. The one day I did not take it in the water I saw an Octopus and a Lobster so I never went in the water with out it again. It spent hours and hours in the salt water and then I used it for sunsets and other pictures. I kept it at 5M as I did not want the pictures to be large file size; however the files size was similar to my Sony at 3M pixel so I think it is best to leave it set at 8M pixels. I was extremely pleased with most pictures. I had blur on about 50 pictures. But ouuta 600 that is not bad. Most of those were in the water or on a boat. Below is a link for 150 of my favorite pics from our trip. The camera price has dropped alot in the month since i bought it. http://picasaweb.google.com/astridwilson/StLuciaBest#
Great Camera for every picture and every situation. September 22, 2008 Scott A. Raynor (Coral Springs, FL) I owned an olympus camera before and switched to sony for some unknown reason. I bought this camera for my son it takes better pictures then my sony top of the line point and shoot. I am amazed by how durable it is and what quality pictures it take in any light and in any weather. We recently took this on vacation with us to an amuzement park and i didn't have to worry about it getting wet on some of the water rides. I must admit it felt weird. Movies on the water rides were unbelievable got the full effect of splash and all. Great Camera i Highly recommend it.
